A cabinet and desk in the ‘Natural lines’ series. For this project I’ve taken the natural lines concept to the next level: Instead of two boards that fit into each other following the natural curves of the grain of the wood, there are three. On top of that I’ve bent the boards into a curve. I’ve sliced that section of the board into thin slices, bent these over a mold and glued them back together in this new shape. The drawing of the wood continues seamlessly. The sections of the 3 meter long boards open as drawers and doors. Project in collaboration with Goeters
